Anyone can book a trip to the Mediterranean. Yours will not exist until we build it for you.

The Cove Society designs private journeys across the Mediterranean, from the Turkish Aegean to the Spanish islands.

Each journey is composed for a single group and belongs to that group alone. There is no catalogue to choose from. We learn who you are, then show you the summer we would build for you.

What private means here

Yours alone, never shared.
The yacht, the villa and the table belong to your group. No other guests, no joined tours, no strangers at breakfast.
On the water, not near it.
You sleep at anchor and swim before coffee. The coves we choose are reached by boat, which is why they stay quiet.
Hosted, not self-service.
A crew sails and a private chef cooks. Every detail is arranged before you arrive. From then on you simply enjoy the summer, and your host takes care of the rest, whenever you need anything.
Local, not the tourist circuit.
The bay to anchor in, the family vineyard, the table worth the drive: each one is chosen by someone who knows it first-hand.

Wake at anchor

The bay is still and the water is clear to the sand. Swim off the stern, then breakfast on deck: figs, honey, warm bread, tea.

We begin at home, on the Turkish Aegean, and follow the Mediterranean west. Where your journey goes depends on your group.

How a journey comes together

We meet
You request an invitation and we talk, in person where we can. We want to know your group before we design anything.
We compose
You receive a day-by-day program made for your group, with every place, stay and table named.
You arrive
You are met at the airport, and from there everything is arranged: every transfer, every table, every departure. Your host is on hand whenever you want something.

Founded by someone who grew up on this sea

Our founder was raised in İzmir, among the coves, boats and narrow streets of the Aegean. He knows this coast the way you know your own neighbourhood: which bay is empty in August, which captain to trust, which table is worth the drive.

The Cove Society began with journeys he designed privately, for people close to him. It remains what it was then: personal, unhurried and built around the people travelling.

We are a small house by design. We accept only a few groups each summer, and each journey is built once, for one group.

Summer 2027 journeys are being composed now.
